TL DR: once you’ve fought with XCode and got it set up correctly, and once you’re a paid up Apple Developer, it’s actually pretty simple. So, I figured I’d see how easy it is to take some of my drawings, package them up into an iMessage sticker application, and publish it on the iOS App Store. I enjoy drawing cartoon characters, and my recent purchase of an iPad Pro with Apple Pencil meant that I spent a good deal of time over the Christmas break drawing.Īt the same time, my kids have started using their iPhones and, in particular, the Messages app (iMessage) to send me texts, photos and to play turn-based games. So, rather than trying to finish it (I had hoped to add a bunch of nice illustrations and images) I’ve decided to publish it “as is”.
